We open the doors of our library of biobased and circular materials for private sessions with one of our experts. More than 300 samples are gathered there: natural fibres, low-carbon options and reclaimed materials.

The stakes

Open up the field before design closes it off.

Material trade-offs are made early, often by default, and are then defended for months. The session comes before that point, while the project can still change direction.

Assess what the project really allows.

Each material is examined alongside its performance and its installation requirements. Technical questions are answered in front of the sample, not in a data sheet.

Align all the parties involved on the same options.

Architect, engineering consultancy, client and contractor look at the same data at the same time. The trade-off is not reopened three meetings later.

Appointments are booked through the contact form. Describe the project, its stage and who is on the team.

The dates
We offer you two dates within two working days.

The session
At the Materatek, with your design team. You leave with your shortlist, your producer contacts and the trade-offs you have agreed.
The method

It reveals the potential; it does not write the specification.

The consultation does not produce a written report. You leave with the selected materials and their manufacturers' contact details: that is what accounts for the fee.

The project study takes over for the multi-criteria analysis, the final choice of materials and the writing of the specification.
