AGC Glass Europe is the European branch of the AGC group, one of the world's leading glassmakers, with its continental headquarters at Louvain-la-Neuve, in Belgium. The company produces flat glass for the building, automotive and electronics sectors, and has been developing products with a reduced carbon footprint for several years.

Its Low-Carbon range relies on manufacture in high-efficiency furnaces, a high recycled cullet content and the use of renewable electricity, while matching the performance of the standard product.

Arte Constructo is a Belgian supplier of lime-based products, based in Schelle, near Antwerp. The company distributes several ranges for restoration and bio-ecological construction: Unilit natural hydraulic lime mortars and plasters, Coridecor decorative lime finishes and KEIM mineral silicate paints.

Drawing on long experience in restoration, it supports specifiers with technical advice at design stage as well as on site, and works with manufacturers of bricks and of bio-ecological insulation.

BC Materials is a Brussels cooperative that turns excavated soil and mineral construction waste into unfired earth materials, grouped under the Léém range. Blocks, mortars, plasters, paint and rammed earth are made without firing, the blocks with Belgian industrial partners.

The raw materials come from nearby urban sites and are tested before processing, and the finished materials are delivered through a short supply chain. A take-back scheme allows Léém materials to be recovered at end of life for a new cycle.

best wood SCHNEIDER is a German family business founded in 1911 at Eberhardzell, where it still has its head office. It processes softwood into structural products (glulam, CLT, CLT BOX box elements, KVH solid timber) and into wood fibre insulation.

At the head office, production runs in a closed loop: the residues from timber processing are used to make the insulation and to produce energy. A second site, at Meßkirch, combines a sawmill with large-format CLT production; a subsidiary at Märstetten, in Switzerland, handles distribution.

ClayLime is a Belgian manufacturer of natural decorative plasters, based in Brussels, in the municipality of Schaerbeek, where its workshop is located. Its cement-free range comprises two clay-based plasters, Claystone and Wonderstone, and three lime-based plasters, Creatina, MonoSoft and TadelaktPro, for floors, walls and furniture.

Each plaster comes with undercoats and protective treatments suited to its use. ClayLime trains professional applicators in the use of its products and provides technical support on projects.

Composil has been looking after commercial carpets since 1992, from maintenance to reuse and recycling. Through its ReUse programme, the company lifts carpet tiles during office renovations, refurbishes those that can still be used and puts them back on the market; the others are recycled or sent for energy recovery. Based in Belgium, with a Circular Hub in Wavre, Composil is B Corp certified and works in several European countries.

De Vlaspit is a Belgian social enterprise based in Scherpenheuvel, in Flemish Brabant, working in employment and work integration. Its Recycork operation turns used cork stoppers into insulating granules. The stoppers are collected from more than 800 points across Belgium, notably through intermunicipal companies, municipalities and businesses.

The workshop handles collection, sorting and grinding on a single site, with a team that combines work integration and technical know-how. The granules are delivered as loose-fill in bags.

Deceuninck is a Belgian company, founded in 1937 in Hooglede, that designs and produces window, door and facade profiles. Since 2018 it has operated a recycling plant in Diksmuide that turns old PVC windows and doors into raw material for new profiles, including the fully recycled Phoenix range. Its head office has remained in West Flanders, and the company operates in more than 90 countries.

Ecoverbo is an Antwerp-based bio-ecological renovation company which, under the name Ecoschelp, supplies and installs seashells for construction and gardens in Belgium. It is the Belgian representative of the Dutch brand ISOschelp, whose marine shells are taken from shell banks, washed and graded.

The shells are delivered blown in, or in bulk bags or sacks, for insulating, free-draining sub-bases in crawl spaces or beneath screeds, for drainage around buildings and for soakaways.

Exie is a Belgian producer of hemp-lime insulation, based in Herzele, in East Flanders. The company processes locally grown hemp into two mixes: CaNaDry®, a dry hemp-lime installed as loose-fill in floors, walls and roofs, and CaNaCrete, a pre-mixed wet hemp-lime for wall insulation.

Exie supports installation with guides specific to each application and with technical advice before work starts on site. CaNaDry® has a B-EPD environmental product declaration.

Gramitherm is a Belgian producer of biobased grass-fibre insulation, based at Auvelais in Wallonia. The company puts to use grass that previously went unused, cut during the maintenance of wetlands, canal banks, road verges and airports, within a radius of less than 300 km.

Its flexible batts are intended for timber construction and for the insulation of roofs and walls. Offcuts and returned batts are fed back into production, and the product carries the Walloon biobased sector label.

Honext is a Spanish producer based in Barcelona, specialising in fibreboards made from paper industry waste. Its patented biotechnological process turns paper mill sludge and used cardboard into rigid boards, with no resin or glue, certified Cradle to Cradle Gold.

In 2025 the company partnered with the paper group WEPA to scale up its production across Europe, with a second plant planned in Germany.

IsoHemp is a Belgian producer of hemp blocks, based at Fernelmont, in the province of Namur. Its non-loadbearing masonry blocks combine hemp shiv and lime; they are moulded and then air-dried, without firing. The range also includes an insulating aggregate, a hempcrete for placing on site, an adhesive mortar and an internal plaster.

IsoHemp organises its products into Syst'HEMP construction systems, for wall lining, frame infill, partitions and new build. Site offcuts can go to RecyHemp, its recycling scheme.

L'Alchimie des Matières is a Belgian family terrazzo workshop, based in Fexhe-le-Haut-Clocher in Wallonia. It develops Recuperazzo, a terrazzo cast in situ with aggregates made entirely from recycled inert demolition waste.

Depending on the project, these aggregates come from inert waste processing facilities in Wallonia or are crushed directly on site with small mobile crushers. Each project is unique, and the workshop supports the specifier from the choice of source material through to final polishing.

LEKO LABS is a Luxembourg company based in Foetz that designs and manufactures prefabricated loadbearing timber walls. Its patented system is built on a timber lattice sized by calculation for each project and robotically fabricated, so that only the quantity of timber needed is used. The walls are tested in European laboratories, including CSTB and CSTC, and in France hold a CSTB technical assessment and an EPD.

Mobius is a supplier of reconditioned building materials, guaranteed and insured, founded in France and present in Belgium with a workshop in Molenbeek since late 2025. The company industrialises reuse, notably of raised access floor panels, from collection on deconstruction sites through to reconditioning and delivery.

Each reconditioned panel undergoes the same tests as a new one, is covered by a ten-year guarantee and receives a traceability certificate from the moment it is collected.

ootouch is a Belgian brand of Moso bamboo coverings, based in Braine-l'Alleud and known until 2025 as BambooTouch. It sells four collections: BambooTouch® flooring, EcooTouch® floor coverings, DeckooTouch® decking and PanooTouch® panels.

The products are made in China from plantation bamboo, then distributed in Belgium and across Europe through a network of dealers. The brand provides technical data sheets, installation guides and maintenance instructions for specifiers and installers.

Platowood is a Dutch producer of modified wood, based in Arnhem. Its process, which uses only water and heat, makes durable fast-growing species that have little natural resistance outdoors: frake from West Africa, spruce from Scandinavia and European poplar, much of it from Flemish forests. Its wood is used for cladding, decking, joinery and interior fit-out, and is sold through a network of timber merchants.

Recoma is a Swedish producer, based in Hässleholm, that makes interior fit-out panels from post-consumer composite food packaging. The process melts down the packaging in its entirety, with no added resin, to produce a hard, uniform board.

The company has been active in the Benelux since 2025, through an entity based in Brussels.

Relieve is a Brussels company specialising in reused office furniture. It clears offices during moves and renovations, puts the furniture back into circulation through its marketplace and furnishes new spaces with second-hand pieces, backed by a CO₂ report. Anything left unclaimed is donated to a network of non-profit organisations and schools, or recycled. Relieve also offers Relieve Pro, a tool for tracking furniture across several sites.

Roosens Bétons is a Belgian manufacturer of ready-mixed concrete, masonry blocks, paving blocks and floor elements, based at Familleureux, in Hainaut. The company has been certified carbon neutral since 2014 on the basis of a carbon footprint assessment, with its remaining operational emissions offset by tree planting.

It develops Clayton, a loadbearing block made with 100% recycled aggregates from construction waste and a low-carbon binder, as well as EcoFix blocks with a reduced carbon footprint.

VestaEco is a Polish manufacturer of straw-based insulation boards and fibreboards, headquartered in Warsaw. Its patented DefibraTech 1.0 process turns straw into fibres, which are bound, depending on the product, by thermal bonding fibres or by a PMDI resin.

The range covers the insulation of walls, roofs and floors, as well as low-density boards for partitions, ceilings and interior fit-out. The products are DIN biobased certified, and two board densities have a published EPD.

Wood Tube is a Swedish producer of frame studs made from recycled paper, based in Säffle, in Värmland. The company offers an alternative to the vertical steel studs used in non-loadbearing partitions, made from post-consumer recycled paper.

Its tubular profiles are part of the ERW GreenWALL system, a partition combining paper studs, Recoma panels and biobased insulation, used in timber buildings, offices and housing in Scandinavia.
